A landmark hotel for this iconic city.

When we purchased this disused industrial site in 2006, it had been 15 years since a new hotel had been built in Oxford city centre.

It’s notoriously difficult to gain planning permission in such historic locations, so one of our main priorities was to show local authorities how our plans would sensitively contribute to the site’s historic setting.

We designed the façade to mirror the brickwork and fenestration prevalent throughout the city, ensuring our designs remained in keeping with the existing landscape, and staying mindful not to interrupt existing views of the iconic Oxford Castle.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Oxford, alongside the historic Oxford Castle, our hotel boasts a stylish bar, restaurant, and roof terrace, offering guests and locals unparalleled views of this historic city.
