At 65 Crutched Friars in the City of London, we wanted to pair high-quality student accommodation with a new and improved public realm, a place to unite students, professionals and locals.

In partnership with the award-winning architects at 3XN, we put forward plans for an 780-bed purpose-built student accommodation development with a new pocket park, a public roof terrace and a ground floor and first floor dedicated to a permanent home for the Migration Museum.

The idea of activating the ground floor came about through our ongoing engagement with local groups and other key stakeholders within the community.

The space will provide 33,000 sq. ft of space towards a permanent home for the Migration Museum, in the heart of London.

Our proposals for 65 Crutched Friars are on track to achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Outstanding,’ the first student living scheme in London to achieve this.
